How to Schedule Your Procedure

Patients will be scheduled for their procedure based on need. Your child’s dental provider must first diagnose a need for treatment and believe that dental surgery is the best option for your child. The provider making this referral must be a Children’s Dental Surgery-affiliated dentist in order for your procedure to take place at Children’s Dental Surgery. Your dentist will be able to tell you if they are.

Once the referral is made, your dental practice will take the lead on ensuring a procedure date is selected as soon as possible. Please note that many of our surgery centers do have busy schedules, and as a result, your child’s procedure may be scheduled 1-2 months out. We try our best to keep this waiting period as short as possible, but are not always able to accommodate given our patient volume and demand.

Children’s Dental Health Patients

Children’s Dental Health patients can leverage their local treatment coordinator for help with scheduling. You will ultimately receive a call from your coordinator regarding procedure details, but are welcome to contact your coordinator if you have questions in the interim. Contact information for Children’s Dental Health treatment coordinators are provided below.
