Children’s Dental Surgery of Lancaster provides pediatric dental surgery for children in the greater Lancaster area and across central Pennsylvania including York, Harrisburg, and Mechanicsburg. Our surgery center is easy to reach from Route 30, with comfortable, patient-centered spaces for children to receive treatment and recover.

Looking for a pediatric dentist in Lancaster?

Children’s Dental Surgery is a surgery center, not a general dental office. Children must first be evaluated by a Children’s Dental Surgery-affiliated dentist before a procedure is scheduled here. If your child needs a dentist, start with one of our affiliated practices: Children’s Dental Health. If your child has already been referred, a treatment coordinator will schedule the procedure date.

What to expect at our Lancaster center

Our lobby has a play space with toys and entertainment to help children relax before their procedure. You’ll find us just off Route 741 near Stauffers of Kissel Hill, next door to A&E Audiology & Hearing Aid Center.

Dr. John Dryden

Dr. Dryden earned his dental degree from Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry and completed a two-year pediatric dentistry residency at Temple University Episcopal Hospital. Before specializing, he practiced as a general dentist in Arizona for seven years.

The staff of ladies were phenomenal with keeping my daughter calm and comfortable before her procedure, the surgeon was rhorough with explaining the plan and them what was done and the male nurse was excellent with aftercare directions and even helped load her in the car for me

They look brand new I can't believe how well a job they did!!!!! I want to say Thank you to the staff, surgical team, and dentists. God bless hard working people. You saved my daughter from possible sepsis, and soon she will be eating normally, and I'm sure she will put on healthy weight again :)
